A question echoing through the chambers of my soul.

“Who is my Shepherd?”

Who is my guide, my compass, my light in the dark?
In the past, I wandered, lost among false prophets,
Tarot cards and crystals, chasing illusions,
Validation in material possessions,
A path that led me far from serenity.

The transformation began when I chose,
To change my shepherd, to the one I have in Christ.
My former shepherds were men, mere shadows,
Fleeting figures offering empty promises.

But Christ, oh, He is the Good Shepherd,
Leading me beside quiet waters,
Quenching my soul’s thirst with His eternal love.

When fear grips my heart, I look up.
To the Shepherd who promised His presence,
Who guides me on paths of righteousness.
In Him, I find all I need,
For He knows His sheep by name,
Loves us beyond measure,
And laid down His life for us.

Yet, it’s hard to be a good sheep, you see.
We crave control, autonomy, the illusion of knowing best.
We wander into temptations,
The sweet allure of short-lived pleasures,
That leave us empty and wanting.

But when I let go,
When I surrender to the simplicity,
Of a shepherd’s love and guidance,
I find peace, contentment, and joy.

For I am a sheep in sheeps clothing

Trust in the Shepherd is my transformation,
An evolution from chaos to calm.
In His presence, I am whole,
And in His guidance, I am free.

I have a shepherd, and so do you.
Follow Him, the Good Shepherd,
And find your soul’s true home.
For in Him, we find the path, the truth, and the life.
In Him, we find everything we need.

The Lord is my Shepherd I shall not want — no one less than Him
